Build on Your Computer
Remix Desktop brings game creation, preview, and publishing into one app for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Work with a coding agent, play what it builds, and refine the project before you launch it.
Creators can prepare a game's title, description, artwork, and categories before publishing those changes. Players keep seeing the approved listing while the next version is being prepared.
Explore Portal Worlds
Portal worlds are places to run, jump, and explore. Walk through a portal to visit another creator's world. Find them in the Portals section on Remix.
On remix.gg, portal worlds can be played in a computer browser or on a phone with touch controls. Desktop-only games outside the portal format continue to show a preview on phones. Embedded portal links show previews; open the full game page to explore.
World creators can start with the Portal option in Remix Desktop. In newer worlds, you play as your own Remix avatar.
Smooth 3D on Any Machine
Desktop games on remix.gg and in Remix Desktop now have a resolution setting. Auto (recommended) lowers the resolution a step when a game keeps running slowly and tells you when it does. Full always renders at your screen's full sharpness, and Performance trades sharpness for speed from the start.
Weekly Rewards on Events
Remix's weekly rewards programs for creators and community members now have their own pages on Events, with the rules for each one and a reminder before payday.
Share Your Creator Page
A public creator page gives your games one place to live. Share your @username page so people can browse your work and follow you. A direct game link is still the quickest way to send someone to one game.
Keep Improving a Live Game
An upload creates a version to test. Launching makes a checked version public. You can keep working on your next update while the current game stays live.
