Level-based progression, handled by Remix

Level-based games are here

Remix now supports level-based games. Creators can build games with ten or more stages, while Remix adds the progression players already understand: numbered levels, sequential unlocks, one to three stars, and progress that saves between sessions.

Players can leave and come back without losing their place. They can replay finished levels to improve their star count or continue from the highest level they have unlocked.

Build the levels, skip the busywork

Creators set a level count in Studio and focus on making each stage fun. Remix provides the level picker, saves each player's best result, and shows the end-of-level experience with options to continue, retry, or revisit an unlocked level.

Every level-based game follows the same familiar structure, so creators do not have to rebuild progression from scratch and players do not have to learn a new system for every game.

More reasons to keep playing

Level-based games also include a built-in trophy path. Players can earn Bronze through Diamond trophies as they collect stars, plus rewards for completing the game and earning every available star.
