Flat profile pics made sense when every game was a thumbnail. They make less sense when you're building a identity people recognize across hundreds of games.
We're testing 3D avatars on Remix â same pixel identity you already have, rendered with depth. It's experimental on purpose. Some devices will struggle. Some combinations will look wrong. That's fine. We'd rather ship it rough and learn than polish it in a vacuum for six months.
What to expect
You'll see the new look on profiles first, then in more places as we figure out what holds up. If something breaks, tell us. If something looks great, tell us that too.
Fortnite proved people care about how they look in a feed. We're not building a battle pass â we're giving creators and players an identity that feels like theirs.
