Prizes

Three ways to win.

  • Champion

    Up to $100,000

    In US dollars or bitcoin

The first player to find all 60 coins. It’s worth 1 bitcoin when they finish, up to $100,000.

  • Prize drawing

    9 cash prizes

    $7,500 · $5,000 · 7 × $1,000

Every coin you hold when the hunt ends is one entry, so you don’t need all of them to win. Drawn at random after the hunt.

  • Referral Bonus

    Up to $50,000

    In US dollars or bitcoin

If a friend joins Remix from your invite and becomes Champion, it’s yours. You don’t have to play to win it.

FAQ

The short answers. The Official Rules have the details.

Why does the top prize say “up to” $100,000?

The Champion Prize is worth 1 bitcoin, up to $100,000. We value it at Coinbase’s price the moment the Champion’s last coin is recorded. If 1 bitcoin is worth less than $100,000 then, the prize is 1 bitcoin. If it’s worth more, the prize is $100,000. The Referral Bonus works the same way: ½ bitcoin, up to $50,000.

How do the 9 drawing prizes work?

They’re not a race. The Official Rules call them 2nd through 10th place, but they go by a random drawing within 7 days after the hunt ends. Every coin on your account when it ends is one entry, up to 60. More coins mean more chances, and you don’t need all 60 to win. The first name drawn wins $7,500, the second $5,000 and the next seven $1,000 each. The Champion can’t win one, each person wins at most one, and residents of New York and Florida aren’t eligible. The Hunters’ Roll in The Keeper’s Study shows who has the most coins; it doesn’t decide the drawing.

Can I enter the drawing without playing?

Yes. Before the hunt ends, email hunt@farworld.gg with the subject “Missing Bitcoin Entry” and your Remix username for one free entry. It has the same chance as an entry earned with a coin. One per person.

How does the Referral Bonus work?

Share your invite from this page. If a friend creates a new Remix account from your link and becomes Champion, you win up to $50,000 (½ bitcoin). Only the Champion’s referrer wins it, and you don’t have to play yourself. You must be 18 or older and an adult where you live, and the bonus isn’t open to residents of New York or Florida. Friends who already had a Remix account don’t count.

Are prizes paid in cash or bitcoin?

The Champion Prize and Referral Bonus are paid in bitcoin to a wallet you control, or in US dollars by bank transfer where lawful: your choice. The amount is fixed when it’s valued, so later price moves are yours. Drawing prizes are paid in US dollars. Prizes are paid within 45 days after a winner is verified.

When does the hunt end?

24 hours after someone finds all 60 coins, or at 11:59 PM Eastern on November 30, 2026, whichever comes first. Coins found after it ends don’t count. If nobody finds all 60, the player with the most coins at the end is Champion.

Who can enter?

Players 13 and older in most countries. Players under 18 (or the age of majority where they live) need a parent’s permission, and any prize they win is paid to the parent. The hunt isn’t open in Brazil, Italy, Russia, Belarus, Quebec or places under US sanctions. You need one Remix account with a verified email to win.

Can I play as a guest?

Yes. Coins you find as a guest count once you sign in with a verified email before the hunt ends.

Can I team up with friends?

Talk through puzzles in public communities, chats and social media as much as you like. But each account must be played only by its owner. Sharing accounts, pooling progress or agreeing to split prizes is grounds for disqualification.

Do I need to buy anything?

No. The hunt is free on Remix Desktop, remix.gg and the Remix app, and nothing you can buy helps you find coins or win.

Free to play. No purchase necessary. The Champion Prize is worth 1 bitcoin, up to $100,000, and the Referral Bonus ½ bitcoin, up to $50,000, both valued when the Champion finds their last coin. Winners choose bitcoin or, where lawful, US dollars. Drawing prizes are paid in US dollars.
